Wise Men Journey to Bethlehem

The Wise Men ride across a barren desert road on camels, traveling in solemn procession toward the newborn King. Their robes, turbans, and mounted caravan evoke the long eastern journey described in Matthew 2, when magi came to Jerusalem asking, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews?” The sparse hills and open path emphasize pilgrimage, obedience, and worship before the Christ child is even seen.
