About the artwork
With His Stripes We Are Healed brings prophetic testimony and the Passion of Christ together in a solemn scene. Isaiah sits among scrolls, a reed pen in his hand and his face lifted, while behind him Christ is bound to a pillar, His back marked by scourging.
The open scrolls and writing tools connect Isaiah’s prophecy to the suffering of Jesus. Isaiah 53:5 (ESV) speaks of healing through the wounds of the suffering servant, a theme reflected in this portrayal of the Messiah bearing suffering for others. The artwork invites contemplation of the peace and restoration God brings through Christ.
A meaningful choice for a church foyer or office, this print can encourage reflection during Holy Week and throughout the year. Printed on archival canvas with mirror-wrapped edges, it arrives ready to hang.
