About the artwork
Destruction of the Earth presents the planet from the edge of space, its surface split by burning fissures and engulfed in a vast storm of fire. Stars shine through clouds of red, orange, and violet as the earth blazes beneath a cosmic sky.
This dramatic scene evokes the biblical vision of divine judgment and the passing away of the present heavens and earth. In 2 Peter 3:10-13 (ESV), the warning of judgment is joined to the hope of a renewed creation. The artwork offers a striking visual for reflection on repentance, the Day of the Lord, and the promise of a new heaven and a new earth.
Suited to a church foyer or office, this print can invite thoughtful conversation about biblical prophecy and hope. Printed on archival canvas with mirror-wrapped edges, it arrives ready to hang.
