About the artwork
The Tabernacle in the Wilderness places Israel’s sanctuary at the center of a sprawling camp. Linen curtains enclose the courtyard, where smoke rises from the bronze altar and robed priests serve before the sacred tent. Rich woven colors mark its entrance, while the tents of the tribes surround it.
The scene recalls the covenant worship given through Moses after the exodus from Egypt. As described in Exodus 25:8-9 (ESV), the sanctuary was to be a dwelling place for God among His people. Its courtyard and sacrificial altar invite reflection on holiness, priestly mediation, and atonement.
A meaningful choice for a church foyer, office, or living room, this artwork also offers a visual starting point for conversations about worship and divine presence. Printed on archival canvas, it features mirror-wrapped edges and arrives ready to hang.
