About the artwork
In the Beginning brings the wonders of creation together in one sweeping scene. Radiant light and planets fill the starry heavens above a lush world of palms and waterfalls. Birds soar overhead, fish swim through the water, and a land animal stands at the water’s edge.
The composition gathers the major works of the creation week, recalling God bringing light, land, vegetation, and living creatures into being. Genesis 1:20-25 (ESV) describes the filling of the waters, skies, and land with life, inviting reflection on God as Creator and sustainer.
At home in a living room, church foyer, or nursery, this artwork offers a vivid way to contemplate and share the story of creation. Printed on archival canvas with mirror-wrapped edges, it arrives ready to hang.
