Evening Coast of Creation

Product

Description
A quiet coastal expanse opens beneath a low evening sky, with dark cliffs in the foreground, island silhouettes across the water, and the sun descending near the horizon. The sea rests in broad reflective bands, giving the landscape a contemplative stillness suited to themes of creation, worship, prayer, and the majesty of God revealed through the natural world.

The scene recalls the biblical witness that the seas and dry land belong to the Lord. In Genesis, God gathers the waters and lets dry land appear; in the Psalms, the sea is praised as His handiwork. With no human figures present, the emphasis falls on the Creator’s sovereignty, the boundary between land and water, and the hush of evening as a visual invitation to reverence.

Genesis 1

9 And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

Psalm 107

23 Some went down to the sea in ships, doing business on the great waters; 24 they saw the deeds of the LORD, his wondrous works in the deep. 25 For he commanded and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea. 26 They mounted up to heaven; they went down to the depths; their courage melted away in their evil plight; 27 they reeled and staggered like drunken men and were at their wits' end. 28 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. 29 He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. 30 Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven.

Psalm 24

1 The earth is the LORD's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, 2 for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.
