Daniel Condemned Before King Darius

Product
Image ID

Description
Daniel is seized in the splendor of a royal court while the reclining king extends his hand in command. Armed attendants, court officials, and watching nobles surround the accused servant of God, creating a tense moment of judgment before Daniel is taken from the palace. The scene reflects Daniel 6, when jealous officials used the king’s unchangeable decree to condemn Daniel for continuing to pray to the Lord. Though royal power appears to rule the room, the biblical account reveals a deeper truth: faithful worship belongs to God alone, and the schemes of men cannot overturn His deliverance. This artwork is suited for teaching on courage, prayer, persecution, exile faithfulness, and God’s sovereignty over earthly kingdoms.

Daniel 6:13-16

Daniel 6

13 Then they answered and said before the king, “Daniel, who is one of the exiles from Judah, pays no attention to you, O king, or the injunction you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.” 14 Then the king, when he heard these words, was much distressed and set his mind to deliver Daniel. And he labored till the sun went down to rescue him. 15 Then these men came by agreement to the king and said to the king, “Know, O king, that it is a law of the Medes and Persians that no injunction or ordinance that the king establishes can be changed.” 16 Then the king commanded, and Daniel was brought and cast into the den of lions. The king declared to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, deliver you!”
