About the artwork
Crossing Jordon portrays priests carrying the veiled Ark of the Covenant on golden poles across the exposed riverbed. A vast gathering of Israel stands along the bank and fills the wilderness beyond, witnessing the way opened before them.
In Joshua 3:14-17 (ESV), the waters of the Jordan are cut off as the priests bearing the ark stand in the river, allowing Israel to pass over on dry ground. Covered for transport, the ark marks God's presence and covenant faithfulness going before His people. The scene recalls obedience and divine leadership in the passage from wilderness wandering into the promised land.
A meaningful addition to a living room, church foyer, or office, this artwork invites reflection on God's faithfulness through times of transition. Printed on archival canvas with mirror-wrapped edges, it arrives ready to hang.
