About the artwork
Christ Crucified Beneath the INRI Sign portrays Jesus hanging on the cross, His arms outstretched beneath an inscribed sign. A crown of thorns rests on His head, while dark clouds and warm light fill the sky behind Him.
The scene recalls the crucifixion at Calvary and the suffering of Christ remembered on Good Friday. John 19:17-19 (ESV) recounts His crucifixion and the inscription placed above Him. For Christians, the cross is a profound reminder of Christ's sacrifice, God's love, and the promise of salvation.
Suited to a church foyer, living room, or office, this artwork offers a place for quiet reflection on the Passion of Christ. Printed on archival canvas with mirror-wrapped edges, it arrives ready to hang.
