Ahab and Jezebel Worship Baal

Description
King Ahab and Jezebel kneel before a golden idol set high on a stone altar, with incense rising in front of the false god. Their royal garments and posture of devotion emphasize the spiritual corruption introduced into Israel through Baal worship. The scene reflects the biblical account in which Ahab, influenced by Jezebel of Sidon, served Baal, built an altar for him, and provoked the Lord to anger more than the kings before him. The image is suited for teaching on idolatry, divided loyalty, corrupt leadership, and the prophetic confrontation that follows in the ministry of Elijah.
