Wings of the Morning

A lone seabird glides across the radiant expanse of the sea, its outstretched wings crossing the light that rests upon the waters. The composition evokes Psalm 139:9-10, where the psalmist declares that even if he takes “the wings of the morning” and dwells in the farthest sea, the Lord’s hand will still lead and hold him. The bird over open water becomes a visual meditation on God’s inescapable presence, guidance, and sustaining care.
