Wilderness Under Gathering Clouds

A rugged desert wilderness stretches beneath a heavy, unsettled sky, with dry shrubs, stony ground, bare branches, and layered hills rising in the distance. The barren terrain carries the visual language of Scripture’s wilderness places: solitude, testing, dependence, and encounter with God. Though no biblical figure is shown, the landscape strongly evokes the deserts where Israel wandered, where prophets withdrew, and where Jesus was led into the wilderness before His public ministry.
