We bought the brass coffee pot in Israel. To me, it had a masculine, medieval look. I kept it for years, feeling that one day it could be part of a significant painting. Children, like the cups of various sizes, filled our lives. Then, suddenly, they were grown up and gone. Our home is mostly quiet now.
