John 1827 Peter again denied it, and at once a rooster crowed. Luke 2017 But he looked directly at them and said, “What then is this that is written: “‘The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’? Luke 2261 And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the saying of the Lord, how he had said to him, “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times.” Mark 1472 And immediately the rooster crowed a second time. And Peter remembered how Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” And he broke down and wept. Matthew 1618 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 2142 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: “‘The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? Matthew 2144 And the one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; and when it falls on anyone, it will crush him.” Matthew 2675 And Peter remembered the saying of Jesus, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” And he went out and wept bitterly. Psalm 11822 The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.23 This is the LORD's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.24 This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. | |
