Description

“Grass withers, flowers fade, but whoever follows Me will live forever.” These words came to my mind as I imagined this painting. The wedding rings provided a wonderful connection to marriage, which has always been mankind’s deepest, closest and most long-lasting union. But Jesus Christ came to offer relationship that goes far beyond, ‘… till death us do part’. He said that, “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” John 3v16. Celebration… togetherness… bereavement… union with Christ. This painting can touch our spirit with any of these things and more.
