The Widow at the Temple Treasury

A hooded widow stands in solemn profile within the temple setting, her face drawn with humility and resolve as gleaming vessels and treasury forms rest behind her. The contrast between her plain covering and the rich gold objects emphasizes the teaching of the widow’s offering: what appears small before human eyes is precious before God when given in faith.
