The Two Ways

This painting began with a Christian couple (middle right) being prevented from adopting 2 girls (lower right). The girls, who were sisters, had to make up their minds whether to follow in Gods ways, or drift away from Him and go with the crowd. Jesus said, Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate! The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough for all the multitudes who choose its easy way. But the Gateway to life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it. Matthew 7 v 13,14. Some people said this painting was far too graphic and could give children nightmares. Interestingly, children are fascinated and deeply impacted by it. Some, who are now adult, say it has stayed in their minds. by Graham Braddock
