The Thankful Leper Returns to Jesus

Jesus stands on the road as one healed man kneels before Him with lifted hands, giving thanks for mercy received. In the distance, the other cleansed men continue on their way, making the contrast at the heart of Luke 17:12-19: ten lepers cried out for compassion, ten were cleansed, yet only one returned to glorify God at the feet of Christ.
