Shepherd in the Wilderness

A lone shepherd walks through a rocky desert valley, wrapped in a striped outer cloak and steadying each step with a curved wooden staff. The barren path, dry ravine, and surrounding stone hills give the scene the feel of ancient Judean wilderness, where guidance, endurance, and protection were daily necessities for those who kept flocks. The staff is the central symbol: a tool for leading, guarding, and rescuing, echoing the comfort of Psalm 23, where the Lord is confessed as Shepherd who provides, restores, and leads through the valley without fear.
