Roman Soldier Armor and Sword

Roman soldier armor fills the frame with a polished breastplate, leather girdle, red cloak, and a sheathed sword held at the waist. The close view emphasizes the equipment of imperial authority: metal protection over the chest, a belt at the center, and a weapon ready at hand.
