Rebekah with the Water Jar

Product
Image ID
ebsps0111
Description
Rebekah stands in the bright wilderness light with a clay water jar resting on her shoulder, her veiled head and warm expression placing her within the daily rhythms of ancient life at the spring. The close portrait emphasizes the moment described in Genesis 24, when the young woman comes out with her jar before Abraham’s servant and becomes part of God’s covenant story through her future marriage to Isaac. The vessel on her shoulder recalls hospitality, providence, and the quiet faithfulness found in ordinary obedience. This artwork is well suited for Bible lessons on Rebekah, women of Scripture, Old Testament family history, divine guidance, and God’s provision through everyday encounters.
