Peace

If you look very closely, beneath the nest, you will find God's undergirding hands. This painting was commissioned by a friend, as a gift to his daughter. She and her husband are Salvation Army officers whose lives are committed to taking God's love, wisdom and peace to the turbulence of people's needs. At the same time, they are providing a secure and stable nest for their family. I got my friend to pose his own hands in a caring, nurturing position and then painted the hands in and under the water. Jesus said, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father's hand. Many of my paintings carry semi hidden images. The best known one is, Road to the Cross. by Graham Braddock
