Naomi Guides Ruth by the River

Product
Image ID

Description
Naomi stands beside Ruth on a rugged riverbank, pointing across the water as reeds bend behind them in the wilderness landscape. The older woman’s gesture carries the weight of guidance, while the younger woman remains close at her side, embodying loyalty and trust. The scene reflects the journey in the Book of Ruth, where Ruth leaves Moab and clings to Naomi, choosing Naomi’s people and Naomi’s God. Set beside flowing water and dry desert terrain, the composition evokes transition, covenant devotion, and the faithful step into an unknown future under God’s providence. Suitable for teaching on Ruth’s loyalty, family redemption, women of the Bible, and God’s quiet guidance through ordinary journeys.

Ruth 1

16 But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. 17 Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the LORD do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you.” 18 And when Naomi saw that she was determined to go with her, she said no more.

Ruth 1

6 Then she arose with her daughters-in-law to return from the country of Moab, for she had heard in the fields of Moab that the LORD had visited his people and given them food. 7 So she set out from the place where she was with her two daughters-in-law, and they went on the way to return to the land of Judah.

Ruth 3

1 Then Naomi her mother-in-law said to her, “My daughter, should I not seek rest for you, that it may be well with you?
