Moon Over Snow-Crowned Mountains

Snow-crowned mountain peaks rise above a quiet lake beneath sweeping clouds and a pale moon in the open sky. The rugged ridgeline, moving cloudbank, and still water present creation as vast, ordered, and held under the sovereignty of God. For Christian ministry use, the scene naturally speaks to worship, retreat themes, creation care, perseverance, and trust in the Lord as Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121 comes to mind as the eyes lift toward the hills, not to worship the mountains themselves, but to remember that help comes from the Lord who made them.
