Jesus introduces the giraffes to Adam & Eve in the Garden of Eden, before the fall. Adam and Eve and Jesus are wearing robes of light, like God covers does (Psalm 104:1-2). There are around 20 pairs of animals, birds, insects and reptiles hidden or in plain sight throughout the painting.

2 Peter 3 13 But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
