Doctor Luke is the author of the Gospel of Luke and Acts of the Apostles which were addressed to Theophilus, also a Gentile Christian. Luke\\\'s books are an orderly insightful account of Jesus and the Early Church. Much was obtained from eyewitness accounts (including Mary) and personal diary of his travels with Paul.
