Light Over the Wilderness Hills

Product
Image ID
mdaps2153
Description
A wide wilderness landscape stretches beneath heavy storm clouds as shafts of sunlight break over rugged hills and dry desert scrub. The open terrain evokes the biblical language of desert testing, pilgrimage, and divine guidance, where barren places become settings for dependence on God. With mountains rising across the horizon and light descending through the clouds, the scene speaks to the Lord’s presence in lonely places and the hope that comes from lifting one’s eyes beyond the wilderness. Suitable for sermon visuals, worship backgrounds, devotional content, and ministry themes of trust, endurance, provision, and pilgrimage.

Scriptures
Deuteronomy 8:2-3   Exodus 13:21-22   Isaiah 35:1-2   Psalm 121:1-2

Deuteronomy 8

2 And you shall remember the whole way that the LORD your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not. 3 And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.

Exodus 13

21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night. 22 The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people.

Isaiah 35

1 The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus; 2 it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the LORD, the majesty of our God.

Psalm 121

1 I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? 2 My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
