Jacob sent ten of his sons to Egypt to buy grain, along with other people. When they arrived, they did not recognize Joseph but he recognized them although he pretended not to. Joseph is holding out his arms and is on the top of the steps. Some of his brothers are kneeling. The scene is outside the palace and there are numerous paintings on the palace walls.
