Joseph, a Helpful Son

This painting is one of a new series that shows the same Joseph at different stages of his life (T-863 and T-871-T-874). This particular painting shows Joseph as a young teenager, asking a shepherd in the field how to find his brothers. The man is pointing in the distance as if to suggest that the brothers have already passed that way and moved on to a new location.
