Jesus Teaching on the Lakeshore

Product
Image ID

Description
Jesus stands on a stony lakeshore, teaching a small gathering of seated followers beside calm water with desert hills beyond. The group listens from the shore as He addresses them in the open air, echoing the Gospel moments when Jesus taught beside the Sea of Galilee and used the nearness of water, land, and daily life to reveal the kingdom of God. The quiet shoreline setting emphasizes His role as Rabbi and Shepherd, drawing disciples away from ordinary routines into attentive hearing. This artwork serves well for ministry themes of discipleship, parables, Gospel teaching, Bible study, and the call to listen to Christ.

1 On one occasion, while the crowd was pressing in on him to hear the word of God, he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret, 2 and he saw two boats by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets. 3 Getting into one of the boats, which was Simon's, he asked him to put out a little from the land. 1 Again he began to teach beside the sea. And a very large crowd gathered about him, so that he got into a boat and sat in it on the sea, and the whole crowd was beside the sea on the land. 2 And he was teaching them many things in parables, and in his teaching he said to them:

Matthew 13

1 That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat beside the sea. 2 And great crowds gathered about him, so that he got into a boat and sat down. And the whole crowd stood on the beach. 3 And he told them many things in parables, saying: “A sower went out to sow.
