Jesus Enters Jerusalem

Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a young donkey as disciples and worshipers gather around Him with palm branches. The Lord sits in humble dignity, clothed in a light robe, while the crowd welcomes Him with raised hands and joyful attention. The donkey is central to the scene, emphasizing the Messiah’s peaceful kingship rather than earthly conquest. Palm branches frame the entry and recall the cries of “Hosanna” from those who recognized Him as the One coming in the name of the Lord. This Palm Sunday subject draws from the Gospel accounts of the Triumphal Entry, when Jesus fulfilled the prophetic sign of a king arriving meekly and mounted on a colt.
