About the artwork

In the Shadow of the Cross by Pavao Leskovar presents a standing man with open arms, set against the strong form of a cross. Below him, his reflected silhouette becomes part of a cross-shaped shadow, creating a simple and arresting expression of Christian symbolism.

The open posture suggests surrender, worship, and a life placed beneath the meaning of the cross. The design invites reflection on the believer’s devotion to Christ and the central place of the cross in Christian faith, as reflected in Galatians 6:14 (ESV).

A meaningful choice for a church foyer or office, this archival canvas features mirror-wrapped edges and arrives ready to hang.
