About the artwork

In Harry Anderson’s I Picked It for You, children in Paradise gather around Jesus beneath a fruit-laden tree. One child offers Him a red flower while others sit and stand nearby, sharing a tender moment beside calm water, flowering plants, and a radiant city in the distance.

The scene reflects the Christian hope of God’s restored creation: a place of welcome, comfort, light, and life in His presence. Its peaceful fellowship invites reflection on the promise of a home prepared by Christ and the joy of those who belong to Him, as remembered in John 14:2-4 (ESV) and Revelation 22:3-7 (ESV).

A meaningful choice for a nursery or church foyer, this artwork brings a gentle vision of Paradise to everyday spaces. Printed on archival canvas with mirror-wrapped edges, it arrives ready to hang.
