Horse in Pasture Close-Up

Product
Image ID
jtbps4640
Description
A close view of a horse’s face and eye rests in warm pasture light, with another horse softly grazing in the distance. The composition draws attention to the animal’s attentive gaze, textured coat, and delicate whiskers, presenting the quiet dignity of livestock within God’s created order. For Christian use, the image speaks to creation care, rural ministry, stewardship, and the biblical recognition that animals display strength and life given by the Creator. Job’s reflection on the horse’s power and beauty reminds viewers that the natural world is not accidental ornament, but a witness to divine wisdom and provision.

Scriptures
Genesis 1:24-25   Job 39:19-25   Psalm 104:24-28

Genesis 1

24 And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so. 25 And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Job 39

19 “Do you give the horse his might? Do you clothe his neck with a mane? 20 Do you make him leap like the locust? His majestic snorting is terrifying. 21 He paws in the valley and exults in his strength; he goes out to meet the weapons. 22 He laughs at fear and is not dismayed; he does not turn back from the sword. 23 Upon him rattle the quiver, the flashing spear, and the javelin. 24 With fierceness and rage he swallows the ground; he cannot stand still at the sound of the trumpet. 25 When the trumpet sounds, he says ‘Aha!’ He smells the battle from afar, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.

Psalm 104

24 O LORD, how manifold are your works! In wisdom have you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. 25 Here is the sea, great and wide, which teems with creatures innumerable, living things both small and great. 26 There go the ships, and Leviathan, which you formed to play in it. 27 These all look to you, to give them their food in due season. 28 When you give it to them, they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are filled with good things.
