Description
There are good reasons why wildlife should not be tamed, but left free in their natural habitat. Well, Peekaboo was always free in the trees around our place in the country! She was playful and full of life...and loved to eat peanuts and pecans too. "Horse apples" were also one of Peekaboo's favorite foods which came from a large tree growing nearby. Her face would turn green from eating horse apples. She had a family of baby squirrels in the hallow of an old oak tree. Baby squirrels are sometimes called kits or kittens. I grew up in the country and had many pets including dogs, cats, and goats. I would recommend domesticated animals for pets. Squirrels are for observing.
