Jesus Son of David Son of Abraham

Product
Image ID

Description
Jesus Christ is presented beneath the ancestral figures of King David and Abraham, forming a reverent portrait of the Messianic line. David appears with a royal headband, representing the covenant promise of a king whose throne would be established, while Abraham is shown as the aged patriarch through whom all nations would be blessed. Christ stands foremost, robed and bearded, the fulfillment of both covenant promises. The composition reflects the opening declaration of Matthew’s Gospel: Jesus is the son of David and the son of Abraham. It is a strong visual resource for teaching the genealogy of Christ, Advent prophecy, covenant theology, and the biblical continuity between patriarch, king, and Messiah.
