Crucifixion at Sundown

Description
Jesus Christ hangs on the center cross between the two thieves on a barren hill at sundown, His body wounded and crowned with thorns as the sky fades behind the place of execution. The three crosses recall the Gospel account of Calvary, where the innocent Son of God was crucified among criminals and fulfilled the suffering foretold in Scripture. The central figure draws the eye to the meaning of the Passion: Christ bears sin, shame, and judgment, while the condemned men beside Him reveal the divided human response to the crucified Savior. This solemn crucifixion scene is suited for Holy Week, Good Friday, Easter teaching, sermon visuals, Bible study materials, and ministry reflections on atonement, repentance, and redemption.
