Bronze Laver of the Tabernacle

Product
Image ID
sdmas0041
Description
A polished bronze laver stands as a sacred vessel for priestly washing, its wide basin and raised pedestal recalling the furnishings of the wilderness Tabernacle. In the Law of Moses, the laver was placed between the altar and the tent of meeting, where Aaron and his sons washed their hands and feet before ministering before the Lord. The vessel points to cleansing, consecration, and reverent preparation for worship. Its reflective surface evokes the holiness required in approaching God and the mercy of ritual purification within Israel’s covenant worship.
