Bighorn Sheep in the High Mountains

A bighorn sheep lifts its head against a distant mountain ridge, its curved horn and alert gaze set within the rugged heights of creation. The animal’s strong profile and alpine setting call to mind the biblical witness that God provides appointed places for every creature: “The high mountains are for the wild goats” in Psalm 104:18. This scene works well for Christian teaching on creation care, divine providence, wilderness, and the Lord’s wisdom displayed in the natural world.
