Description
Adam and Eve stand together in the wilderness outside Eden, clothed in skins and cradling their newborn child. A simple shelter, clay vessel, basket of fruit, and open hills place the family in the first human home after the Fall. The scene points to Genesis, where life continues under the mercy of God even after judgment: Eve receives a son and recognizes that birth itself is a gift from the Lord. The infant represents the beginning of family, labor, hope, and the unfolding human story that will soon include both offering and tragedy through Cain and Abel. This artwork is suited for teaching on creation, the Fall, the first family, early Genesis narratives, parenthood, and God’s sustaining grace after exile from Eden.
